Due to flooding, please note that the north field in Sabal Pines Park is temporarily closed (Friday, September 30th).

 

Parks and Recreation staff members are currently monitoring the conditions and will open this area as soon as field conditions allow. For more information, please call 954-545-6600.

Parks and Recreation Advisory- Due to heavy and persistent rain, please note the following weather-related temporary closures and cancellations:

 

  • George S. Gerber Memorial Park - closed 
  • Cypress Park - closed
  • Winston Park - closed
  • Sabal Pines Park - closed
  • Lakeside Park - closed
  • Oak Trails Park - closed
  • Community Center dock and pickleball courts - closed 
  • Windmill Park tennis courts and pickleball courts - closed
  • All park reservations canceled for Wednesday, September 28th
  • Youth Flag Football canceled - Wednesday, September 28th & Thursday, September 29th
  • Youth Soccer player drafts canceled - Wednesday, September 28th & Thursday, September 29th

Coco Point Park will be closed from Tuesday, April 19th. Lakewood Park will be closed from Monday, April 25th. Both parks will be closed for 8 to 10 weeks for renovations.

The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for recreational activities and classes, special events, pavilion rentals, sports leagues and fitness activities. We also maintain over 167 acres of athletic fields and almost 14 acres of greenways throughout the City.

The City offers our residents 18 parks, 9 greenways, 4 football/soccer fields, 11 baseball/softball fields, multipurpose fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, pickleball courts, splash pads, 1 dog park, 2 fitness centers (Creek Fit), and 2 recreation centers.

The City of Coconut Field Conditions Hotline (FCH) is 954-545-6690. The FCH will be updated at 3:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 AM on weekends. The FCH will cover Sabal Pines Park, George Gerber Memorial, Hosford Park, Lyons Creek and Lakeside Parks.
